Introduction

The East Meets West: Chinese Value-Based Leadership in Education Conference, organized by The Education University of Hong Kong, unites educators and leaders worldwide to explore the integration of traditional Chinese values in modern educational leadership. This event provides a unique platform for cross-cultural dialogue, focusing on how Confucian and other Chinese philosophies inform ethical and innovative leadership. Through keynotes and panels, participants will compare Eastern and Western leadership styles, share good practices, and develop strategies for global educational advancement. Join us in bridging cultures to inspire leadership that is both culturally rooted and globally relevant.

Objectives of the conference:

  • Exploring the Integration of Chinese Values: Examine how values such as Confucianism influence leadership behaviours and decision-making in education.
